Abstract
A common problem for guitarists is how to get great guiter tone for late night practicing or recording without disturbing the neighbors. I would be nice if you could plug into a single rack space box that has a Fender channel and a Marshall channel, selectable by a footswitch, that can directly connect to your personal practice or recording setup. It is so important to have great tone. Bad direct-in amp simulators always sound small, and size really does matter.
There are many such items on the market today. Digital modelling, and whatever else. They just do not sound or feel anything like playing through a cranked up actual amp. You need the touch response, the tone, and that certain elusive mojo.
As you can see, the controls are the same as on the original amps.

Channel 1 was designed to simulate a 1965 blackface twin reverb but without the reverb. This can be tweaked to do almost any vintage Fender amp.

Channel 2 was designed to simulate a 50 watt marshall jmp head with a 4-12 cabinet with Celestion G-12-25's.

Here is a look at the inside circuitry of the prototype.
