June 29, 2002 at The Power of DC Electric Drag Races:
A third place in the '96 volts and under' class with a time of 11.333 seconds and a speed of 56.56 mph in the 1/8 mile. A time of 18.22 seconds and a speed over 60 mph was recorded in the 1/4 mile also. Not bad for using 4 year old technology while the competiton had upgraded their vehicles extensively. Even so, no one had equaled the time set last year by the E-Kart powered by LEMCO of 10.172 seconds in the 1/8 mile. The E-Kart also had a better 1/4 mile time than all but one of the '97 volt and over' cars! And won a head-to-head race with a 144-volt Corbin Sparrow in the 1/4 mile!
